More latest news links about General Knowledge | News:India&'s government has been criticised for refusing to provide security for the Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket tournament.
The country&'s cricket board said on Sunday that it was examining if the tournament could be held abroad after New Delhi said it would be unable to provide police and military protection because the tournament coincides with a general election.
With just weeks to go before the five-phase parliamentary poll begins on April 16, the opposition Bharatiya Janata party sought to make political capital out of the situation.
