What others think about Grapes of Wrath |

| | well, the grapes of wrath was a good book, a little slow in the beginning, but it accurately portrays the hardships of the migrant workers during the Dust Bowl. I read it in 11th grade, and it goes well with US history. some of these questions arent very relative as people may not have seen the movi |

| | Surpisingly, I liked the book. I think that the part that I found most upsetting was, since it was set in the 1930's and in Oklahoma, some of the dialect and dialogue was a little different than I was expecting. Overall it was a great book. |

| | The shorter chapter in between the Joads' story were completely relevant and an absolute necessity! Anyway, I greatly enjoyed this book. Anyone want to help me with study guide questions? :) |

| | The book has a climax and then the falling action is 50 pages after that. Other than that, one of Steinbeck's greatest (I preferred East of Eden followed by Of Mice and Men). |

| | It's a great book with in depth chapters about the main family and about the farmers in general. The interchapters were amazing, they included many of the books themes and represented the population of unemployment as a whole and their tough times surviving mother nature and the nature of others. |

| | I didn't like it that much but Curtis, the iinterchapters had EVERYTHING to do with the Joads. They were showing us the bigger picture. |

| | The chapters that didn't relate to the Joads at all were completely unnessecary and made an already conflict-low book even slower to read. |
